Selenium Films is a production company, established in 2008, working towards curious, original and innovative cinema, mainly linked to art.

Its vocation is to promote creativity and support artists and directors who offer a pertinent and constructive perspective on the world today. Selenium Films also focuses on this territory situated between cinema created by “filmmakers” and “artists”.

Selenium, Se, is a chemical element extensively researched during the 19th century to exploit its photosensitive properties, particularly for the transmission of images. Its name comes from the Greek « selene », the Moon.
